Welcome to the Good Labs site! Good Labs is committed to creating, designing and inspiring technology for the common good - technology that benefits our communities.

For business clients, I consult on user research and interaction design based on user-centered principles. I specialize in inclusive, accessible technology.

For my community, I create opportunities to experiment with Maker and DIY technology. On June 20, 2013, I hosted my inaugural community event, a SparkFun electronics workshop. I also recently taught Arduino workshops at a summer camp for kids on the Autism spectrum.

I am experimenting with Arduino Do-It-Yourself robotics and electronics, especially for wearable computing. My current project is an interactive, sensory-soothing blanket is Project Blinkie Blanket. As part of my Masters program in Human-Centered Design and Engineering, my Interaction Design group project was Smart Wheels, an accessible, crowd-sourced online map powered by Arduino.
